The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) conducted a demonstration test of a transportation robot on the Marunouchi Building grounds in Marunouchi, Tokyo. The effectiveness of the robots was verified as a solution to the social issues facing the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, such as labor shortages and the burden of transportation work. The event was designed for the last mile in logistics. The robots, "Marble" and "Effibot" provided by Up Quality (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo), were used to transport the cargo from the unloading point to a sales store about 100 meters away. Marble went to the destination autonomously, and Effibot, loaded with farm products, followed Marble. In an environment where an unspecified number of people come and go, we verified issues for practical use, such as safety and stability. This demonstration experiment is the third phase of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's "Tokyo Robot Collection" project.
